Re:Quest Models Donates Equipment to Kids Baseball Team in Afganistan

Earlier this week, we couldn't help but be touched by a story in the Daily News by Joanna Molloy.

Army Cpl. Brendan Rogak, a Brooklyn-born soldier in Afghanistan, has an amazing goal: to bring baseball to kids in Afghanistan. His father, Lawrence Rogak, reached out to the news to get help with acquiring the necessary equipment.

As put by Ms. Molloy:

But it was Noel, the owner of Re:Quest Model Management, who batted the idea that beauty is only skin deep right out of the park.

Known simply by her first name, Noel, who , reps Sabrina Nait, Artur Kulkov, David Agbodji and Yuri Pleskun, walked into a Sports Authority yesterday and bought enough to equip 18 children.

Part of the reason, she said, is that she feels Brendan is a kindred spirit.

"I love nurturing kids at a young age and developing them through their teens into their 20s, so that they're good students but also wonderful people," she said. "And he is, too."
